Return of the Peseta

Villamayor de Santiago a small town south east of Madrid has reverted back to using the old currency the Peseta. With the Euro Crisis deepening local shop keepers and business had the initiative to accept the old defunct currency to help its struggling population.  News quickly spread, and shoppers from neighbouring villages and towns have been flocking there to spend the old currency.
